So here's to my first blog post!
Although the whole point of this blog is to keep friends and family updated on my adventures in Florence next semester, I figured it wouldn't hurt to start practicing now :)
So yesterday I got my gallbladder removed. And today I feel pretty darn good! I'm a little sore around the incision area but this isn't bad compared to the pain I had been in beforehand.
What else is new in my life?
Oh, well I have finally caught up with all my thank you notes from graduation gifts. Now I just have to write letters to the sponsors of a couple of the scholarships that I won. And speaking of scholarships, I need to remember to finish filling out those forms so I can actually get the money.
Note to rising seniors and anyone else who is applying for scholarships: BE ORGANIZED!
I've never had to fill out so many forms and keep up with so many deadlines and dates and names in my life! And if I miss any deadline, there goes all that money! So if you think you're likely to win money, go ahead and invest in a nice accordion style organizing folder. It will save your life.
Well my pain pills are starting to kick in now and my brain is moving much slower so I'm going to end my first blog now.
There will be many more to come I can reassure you that :-)
Ta-ta for now!
xoxo
